I'm trying to justify (totally impossible) my handicap system,
I'm checking the archives for previous meetings between the teams and it shows that :-
LBS (in all their previous existencies) have played Trapdoor Spiders an incredible 72 times, starting in 1983.
But that isn't the longest running fixture which is LBS vs Vikings which began before the records begin in 1977.
The longest continuous fixture is Vikings vs Trapdoor Spiders which now stands at 70 games - with the incredible score of 59 wins, 3 draws, 8 losses in favour of the Vikings - but only an average of 9.3 (4 or 5 questions per game)
